Friendly Island Pharmacy
The Friendly Island Pharmacy has grown from its initial launch in 1988 as the Friendly Island Drugstore, to a full service pharmacy that adheres to the individual needs. The modern pharmacy displays the largest collection of European and American prescription medicines, vitamins and over the counter medication on the island and operates in conformity with *FDA (Federal Drug Association) requirements and the laws and regulations of the Netherlands Antilles.
The pharmacy prides itself with its large collection of products and keeps this offer up to date by making sure that products not available through local suppliers are still present, by ordering them through the United States and Europe . By doing so, the pharmacy offers products which may not be available elsewhere on the island.
To give the best service, the staff of the Friendly Island Pharmacy is friendly and knowledgeable about the products and medications and always willing to help. As St. Maarten is a multi-lingual island, the pharmacist speaks French, Dutch and English and our combined staff can equally help you in these languages, they even do their best with Spanish.
A Medical Clinic is also present in the Union Plaza for your convenience. The pharmacy has ample free parking space in front of its location for all of its customers, thus there is no excuse not to hop in and visit the pharmacy yourself!

The FDA import regulations allow for a 90 days personal supply of medication that can be taken home to the US. The products offered are restricted to non-abusive maintenance drugs and customers have to bring proof of use to be able to be granted a prescription.
